ET System errors & notifications
Effective Tours always notifies about all the errors. Notification comes to email registered for all users in company and to Telegram (if you activated Effective Tours Telegram Bot) as well.
Typical system error always content information about channel where is the error came from, and short description.

According to these error messages – your room ID:128568105 got double reservation for dates 04/02-06/02 from Booking.com.

Reason: Double booking
What to do: Booking already exist, hotelier should decide what to do, cancel, contact the guest, move to another room

Reason: Agoda’s server doesn’t answer
What to do:Nothing, it happens sometimes
Error: [BOOKING] Errors: “Access denied for hotels: your booking account number. TIP: requesting no specific hotels will give you reservations to all connected hotels.”
Reason: Hotel didn’t confirm connection on booking extranet after connection ET as Channel Manager
What to do: After connection ET as your Channel Manager confirm it on extranet Booking.com
Error: [EXPEDIA] Errors: SQLServerException: The TCP/IP connection to the host LodgingSystemManagement.ch.expeso.com, port 9999 has failed. Error: “No route to host. Verify the connection properties. Make sure that an instance of SQL Server is running on the host and accepting TCP/IP connections at the port. Make sure that TCP connections to the port are not blocked by a firewall.”. Reason: Problem on Expedia side
What to do: Nothing, it happens

Reason: something happens on Expedia side
What to do: Check Expedia extranet, wait till Expedia will fix the problem

Reason: Agoda notifies you that not possible to set up the rate for room
What to do: Set up occupation for the room on Agoda extranet according to occupation of this room on ET. Basically this error comes about your Family room which you set up as for 3 people on ET, but marked as room for 2 people on Agoda.

Reason: Agoda notifies that you got double booking
What to do: contact the guest to cancel booking or move the booking for another room manually

Reason: API Expedia not available
What to do: nothing it happens
Error: [AGODA] Errors: [API key is not authorised for Property id: your Agoda account number] [Notified]
Reason: ID property activated on ET Channel Manager, but doesn’t confirm by Agoda
What to do: wait confirmation from Agoda and activate Agoda on ET after
Error:[AGODA] Errors: [ > Double rate: 44 should be between 60 and 9999999]
Reason: your Agoda extranet setting has allowed rage for room rate between 60 and 9999999, but your ET rate is lower – 44
What to do: change your rage for Agoda or change rate on ET
Error: [AGODA] Booking ID:302704677. Room “Family Room [RO] [RO]”. 29/09/2018 .. 30/09/2018. No available rooms. [Notified]
Reason: you got double booking from Agoda for your “Family Room” for 29-30.09
What to do: asked the guest to cancel booking or move the booking for another kind of room manually

Reason: API Expedia not available
What to do: nothing it happens, problem on Expedia side

Reason: Room ID 101283314 isn’t activate on Booking.com, but activate on Effective Tours
What to do: Activate room on Booking.com or deactivate this room on ET

Reason: Expedia has room inventory for properties, if you have less than 2 rooms of one type you will get this error
What to do: Ask Expedia to remove the guaranteed allotment
Error: [BOOKING] Booking ID:1786808962. Unknown Room Type 34297401 “None”. Use previous Room Type 34297401 “Standard Room [BB] [BB]”
Reason: You got a booking for the room which doesn’t connect to your existing rooms on ET (you have this room on Booking.com, but you don’t have this room linked to any of rooms on Effective Tours
What to do: do the mapping

Reason: you have wrong login on Effective Tours to connect it as your Channel Manager to Expedia
What to do: Please note when you connect Effective Tours as your Channel Manager to Expedia, Expedia will give you different login from your existing one to login to PartnerCentral. Your Expedia connection login to transfer your data via API should start from EQC, content your property ID number and finish with letters EFT. This information Expedia will send you after you request the activation Effective Tours as your Channel Manager
