iCal mapping for Airbnb.com
When you map your Airbnb listing to Effective Tours, you have to remove all existing iCal calendars synchronization from your Airbnb listing to avoid any loops and overbooking problems.
Effective Tours must be the only one source of inventory
As you can see on the diagram below, after we map Airbnb listing with Effective Tours, we remove direct link between Airbnb and Booking. Same way, you have to remove any other links from Airbnb to any other OTA.
Airbnb returns via iCal only the reservation which was made in Airbnb. If you sync your Airbnb with any third party OTA via iCal, then any any booking you receive on that third party iCal will be displayed in Airbnb, but will not be exported to Effective Tours – as a result you have a risk oа overbooking
If you have any other OTA linked to Airbnb, you must to re-link them directly to Effective Tours
